Sarah Davis teases new body art ‘Forge the Queen’ while visiting a tattoo parlor

Sarah Davis teased fans as she posed for a photo on Instagram while getting some new body art on Friday.

The Dragon’s Den star, 37, gave her followers a glimpse of the purple ink that reads “Queen of Crafting” while having a bespoke pattern around it.

However, it turns out that the design wasn’t a tattoo because the founder and owner of Crafter’s Companion was playing an April Fool’s joke on her fans.

“I’ve been fantasizing about getting a tattoo for a while now but didn’t know what to get or who to go with, then found out @gentlemanjimstattooclub is just down the road from our office and he’s a pretty cool artist. He personally designed this Crafting Queen for me and I absolutely love it! #tattoo #tattoo

However, only a few hours later, she took to social media to post a clip of her walking into the parlour, revealing the pen-drawn style.

In the clip, she is seen walking in the door before sitting inside while the tattoo artist designs Tate.

Then it looked like he took the needle into her arm, but when he went to wipe off any excess ink, he washed the tattoo completely with soap and water.

Sarah wrote: “I can’t believe so many of you have fallen for my ‘tattoo’…April Foolishness!

Joker! However, it turns out that the design was not a tattoo because the founder and owner of Crafter's Companion was playing an April Fool's joke on her fans.

Careful Study: Sarah writes: “I’ve been fantasizing about getting a tattoo for a while now but didn’t know what to get or who to go for”

I had such a giggle while planning this and I just want to say a big thank you to the team including @cupofcaitlinn for the photography and photos and @darrengbrown for the creative tattoo design and finally but at least Jimmy at the gentlemanjimstattooclub for lending us a (real) tattoo studio and getting into the prank!

Sarah’s hoax comes after she paid tribute to her ex-partner Strictly Come Dancing Aljaž korjanec after the professional announced he would not be returning to the show this year.

Jay, who danced with Sarah in last year’s BBC ballroom competition, revealed on Monday that he is strictly leaving, with sources adding that he was “on the fence” about leaving before deciding to move on to other projects.

Sarah wrote on Instagram: “The news came out today that @aljazskorjanecbbcstrictly has left.

“The moment I agreed to precisely do it, I knew I wanted to partner with Jazz…I couldn’t pinpoint exactly why, I knew there was something really special about it. I knew that if I was going to do the show, I hoped ( I told everyone I could hear what I wished) that jazz would be my partner.

I didn’t know at that point that I was going to dance with him for his last series.

He gave 9 amazing years to the show and the joy he brought to so many people in that time is amazing – not just his partners and co-workers, but to the millions of fans who love the show and who love it.

The biggest question I get asked all the time has been “is he really as beautiful as he appears” and my answer always is “I have had the privilege not only of being educated by him, and of dancing with him, but that he has also become a part of my family and one of my best friends, I can tell you It’s more amazing in real life than you can imagine.

He really epitomizes everything the show is about and I know he’s going to be a big miss. I’ve seen with my own eyes the positive impact it makes on everyone he comes in contact with – from the other professionals and crew on the show, to all the fans he takes the time to meet and chat with.

Big fan: “The moment I agreed to do it precisely, I knew I wanted to partner with Jazz…I couldn’t pinpoint why, I just knew there was something special about him,” said Sarah

I know how hard this decision was for him, to let go of something he loves so much and that’s a huge part of his personality.

But I also know that this isn’t the end of his book – it’s just the beginning of a new chapter and there are many exciting chapters to come like the ones we’ve already read! ❤️ Keep being a great partner – I know you will! thirty.

He follows in the footsteps of his wife Janet Manrara, who announced her departure from the professional lineup last year as she transitioned into a host role on the spin-off It Takes Two.

“On a beautiful sunny day in May 2013, one phone call changed my life forever!” Al-Jaa said in a statement.

It went like this… We would like to offer you a position at BBCSstrictly as a professional dancer. The dream became a reality and the biggest chance was for a 23-year-old boy from Slovenia.

Go Ahead: “On a beautiful sunny day in May 2013, one phone call changed my life forever!” Al Jafa said in a statement.

“No matter how many beautiful ballrooms I have performed during my competitive career, stepping into the Holy Land has been the most stressful of all.

A while ago, I made the tough decision that Strictly 2021 would be my last. The show has given me the opportunity and freedom to be creative and express myself in front of millions of people every weekend for the past nine years.

The love and support I received from the team of producers was second to none. Jason Gilkson, Sarah James, Kim Winston, Jack Gladhill are just a few of the unsung heroes behind the show’s success – I’m forever grateful to them!

Being part of a group of professionals who inspire and push you to be better every step of the way is humbling and I will carry that inspiration with me forever. Every year the lineup of dancers changed but one thing stayed the same, we were the best! And that’s something I know will never change! “

“Strictly also has the best behind the scenes team – hair and makeup team, costume department, lighting, sound, props and special effects, camera operators… Thank you!”

Allegaz, who won a Glitterball Award in his first year in the BBC competition, went on to honor the nine celebrity partners he danced with on the show, writing: ‘My beautiful partners – Abby Clancy, Alison Hammond, Helen George, Daisy Lowe, Kate Silverton, Gemma Atkinson, Emma Weymouth, Clara Ampho and Sarah Davis.

It is hard to describe in words how many beautiful memories we had. I love you all!’
