The golf league is set to start next month

What a master’s degree. From Tiger’s return to Scotty Scheffler winning it all, the 2022 Masters has given us everything we could have hoped for.

Yes, if you love to watch golf, and even if you don’t, there is nothing better than watching The Masters on TV. The green, the flowers, the water, the sounds, the golf, it’s simply the best golf tournament to watch every year. And when you add watching Tiger again, when neither of us thought we would, it was pretty cool.

And the last thing I’m going to say is my silence is on fire. (GoldMember reference). Scottie Scheffler has won four times, including a major in 57 days. No one but Tiger has ever gone on a run like that. It’s incredible.

Back home, here are some dates to remember.

The Prairie Farms Golf League will begin May 3, 4 and 5. The first week of the men’s league will be from 3 to 4 May and the women’s start on 5 May. The men’s league is also looking for another team for Tuesday. Contact the Pro Shop for more information.

The Men’s League Annual Meeting will be held at Beaver Creek Golf Course at 6 p.m. BCGC.

This week also marks Montana State University’s final stop – Northern Golf Teams. Weather permitting, the lights and skylights are scheduled to play in the Frontier Conference Championships, which began early Sunday, due to an impending winter storm. The tournament concludes today in Idaho.

The Frontier Championships is the only stop on the spring schedule for the MSU-Northern golf teams, coached by Jim Kirkpatrick. The tournament includes Rocky Mountain College, Carroll College, Providence, Northern, Montana Tech and Montana Western. After the first day, the men and women of the RMC team finished first in the tournament held in Boise. The team winners will advance to the NAIA National TPC Deere Run next month.

TJ Reynolds, Ryan Williams, Megan VandenAcre and ShaAnn Denelson of MSU-Northern have also been named to golf. We’ll get the full results from the Frontier Championship in next week’s column.

Remember, anyone who would like to publish information in the From Tee to Green column this year, please send an email to [email protected] By Sunday before running a column each week.
