According to the Mail Online, broadcasters are “racing to secure Tom” for their lineups.
Tom is said to “check all the boxes” when it comes to tough competition.
However, ITV is willing to pay a six-figure sum to get him in the Australian jungle.
There is a race to secure Tom.
A source told the newspaper: “There is a race to secure Tom – both broadcasters know viewers will love him.
“The Chiefs feel very strongly that he will stay in the competition until near the end, if not the final – while ITV feels he will be perfectly fit to join the other celebrities in the woods.”
The source added, “Tom has a wide fan base but is very popular among the 16-24 age group, which BBC and ITV are keen to continue watching.”
Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity is set to return to Australia this year.
Rosemary Newell, ITV’s director of content, has confirmed that the show plans to come back downstairs in November.
