Wanted star Tom Parker’s wrecked wife holds a fundraiser in his memory

Wanted star Tom Parker’s wife has created a GoFundMe page in honor of her late husband. Tom tragically died of a brain tumor at the age of just 33 last week, leaving behind his wife and two children.

His wife Kelsey Parker has now created a GoFundMe page in memory of the star, MEN reports. Setting up the page, she said: “I am Kelsey Parker, a very proud wife of Tom Parker, perhaps best known for being the UK Five The Wanted Boy, but for those who knew him, he was my husband, father, son, brother and friend.

“As many of you know, Tom was diagnosed with a brain tumor in October 2020, and on Wednesday March 30, 2022 he passed away peacefully with all his closest friends and family by his side.”

She added, “Our hearts are truly broken, Tom has been the center of our world and we can’t imagine life without him, but one of the biggest sources of comfort over the past two years has been the outpouring of love and support we’ve all received.” We can’t thank everyone enough for having carried Tom, me and the kids into your thoughts and prayers, for lighting candles and sharing beautiful messages of hope and condolences.

“We want to take everyone’s incredible love, support and generosity, turn our grief into something positive and keep Tom’s memory alive forever. We politely ask that instead of gifts and flowers, donations be made to this GoFundMe account with all proceeds eventually going to amazing causes in Tom’s name to help those in need.”

“We simply could not have gotten through the past two years without the help and support we have received, and if we can give it back to others it would be the best way to honor Tom and make our two children, Aurelia and Buddy proud.

“From the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much. If only love could save Tom, he would have lived forever…”

The wanted star’s death comes after he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor – stage 4 glioblastoma – in October 2020. Tom’s diagnosis came shortly before he and his wife Kelsey, who married in July 2018, welcomed their second child, a son named Buddy. They also have a daughter Aurelia which they welcomed in July 2019.

“We can confirm that Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all his family at his side,” Kelsey Parker said in an Instagram post on Wednesday (March 30). The center of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

“We are truly grateful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all come together to ensure that Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought to the end. I am forever proud of you.”

Tom, from Bolton, vowed to fight cancer while receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy in the UK to extend his life, and recently had an extended stay at a specialist clinic in Spain, but tragically lost his life.

Returning to the UK, Tom joined his bandmates The Wanted Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuinness on stage at the end of their series of on-stage performances at the AO Arena just weeks ago.

Despite his severe illness, Tom delighted fans of The Wanted by appearing alongside the band during the Greatest Hits Tour, where the band reunited after a seven-year hiatus.

While the group performed their hit singles Glad You Came and Gold Forever at the M&S Bank Arena, Tom sat on the throne on a raised platform. Seemingly too weak to sing for the audience, his bandmates huddled around him with Siva Kaneswaran, 33, to pick up his vocals while Nathan Sykes, 28, never left his side and filmed what would be their last moments together on stage.
